Update on road as of 5/22/10

I was at the property Friday 5/21 and stayed until 5/22. We were able to get into Sid Halton’s cabin only by snow cat. There are a couple of snow drifts covering the road before you get to the east gate. These snow drifts were impassable in a four wheel drive car/truck. Some people were able to drive four wheelers over them early in the morning. Depending upon weather those drifts may be gone before Memorial weekend and we hopefully can get to the gate. Once you are past the gate the roads are open through the meadow. Elk hollow is completely covered with snow from the meadow up and so is Nina’s way. I’m sure the snow will still be on Elk Hollow Memorial weekend. I did not travel on the roads west or north of the meadow and assume they are covered also. I did not check the roads on the West side of the association property. Thank you Thomsen’s for the mountain cam!!! Scott Halton

I am hoping one day I will be able to set up a site that anyone can view the pictures anytime live but for now with the restrictions on bandwidth at our cabin it is just not available to do so yet. As it is for now I will try to keep up on posting a new picture as often as i can.
